"The Lion"
Legend : One of the oldest constellations, Leo has been identified in many cultures. In China it was the "Yellow Dragon", the Hebrews identified it with the story of Daniel in the lion's den, and Greek mythology says that Hercules killed the Nemaen Lion as his first of twelve labors.

Leo is one of the few constellations where it doesn't take a great stretch of the
imagination to see the shape of the object. There is a saying, "As the dipper
pours, the lion will roar.", which means that as the Big Dipper rotates into an
upside position in the sky Leo will rise above the horizon. There are many
galaxies in Leo worth taking a look at.
